Weekly round-up #books #amreading

This hasn’t been my best reading week or blogging week. I’ve been full of the cold and I had a sinus infection, so I laid around a lot. I watched TV. Far more TV than I usually watch. I have binged on several series of Dexter – an oldie now, but very good. I’ve never read the books, but I feel like I have probably missed out.

Have you read Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay? I’m definitely going to pick it up at some point. And continue my Dexter addiction.

Anyway, I’m still watching far too much Dexter – and Deborah (she’s my favourite character), but I am out of my reading slump and I’m very much enjoying having the brain capacity to once again read.

I was approved on NetGalley for Click by Lucinda Smyth and I am 37% into it so far and it’s very good.

I am planning on staying away from NetGalley for a while, my feedback ratio is at a very low 35% because I have 13 books waiting for my attention. 13 books. Oooppps. Sorry, not sorry.

I’m also very slowly making some progress on Gone with the wind. It’s huge. It is interesting thou, I just can’t seem to get the time to read a big chunk of it at once. Too many books – never enough time.

What I’m currently reading

What I am going to start very soon

What I REALLY want to read and soon

When I catch up on the books I am reading to review/blog tours I really want to get stuck into the books below. Have you read any of them?

Up and coming blog tours

I have really enjoyed this one so I am looking forward to the blog soon.

How has your week been?

Happy reading!

And a big thank you to everyone that stops by, reads, comments or says hi here or on twitter!

  1. You’ve got some good books here! Priory of the Orange Tree is on my TBR and it is HUGE! The size is definitely intimidating. And I recently got a copy of Gone with the Wind and its also huge. I know the movie for that one is like 4 hours long, so there’s definitely a lot to get through. I’m glad you’re enjoying it though!!

  2. It’s My Birthday looks cute, can’t wait to see what you’ll think about it!
Don’t feel so bad about Netgalley, I have 35 books on my shelf there right now, so it can always be worse.
But I decided to clear that shelf before the end of the year, but will try to do it asap!
I haven’t read the books on your tbr, but I would like to start Karen Marie Moning’s series.

  3. Great post!

Dexter was such a great series. Michael C. Hall is one of my favorite actors. He was amazing on Six Feet Under (HBO).

I haven’t read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but I hope to read that this year at some point. I’ve heard it’s really good.

I didn’t read much in March. Although, I did start reading In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware. From the little I’ve read of it so far it’s really quite good.
