So, I went to see the Avenger’s Endgame in the cinema this morning.
Don’t worry there is NO spoilers below #DontSpoilTheEndgame
I of course refuse to be that person.

And because I am not going to discuss any possible spoilers, this will most likely be a short blog post because EVERYTHING was a surprise to me after the first 15 minutes or so of the film.
I didn’t guess anything correctly. I had no idea of the rather crazy journey that awaited me.
Unpopular opinion time – I didn’t love Infinity Wars, I thought it was ok. I just finished watching it and felt a little bit meh. A bit deflated. A little bit disappointed. And a whole lot sad.
But The Endgame was so, so, so very good.
It was funny, it was heartbreakingly perfect, and it was everything in between. It couldn’t have been better. And yes, for me there was some tears. Bring a hankie.
I am already looking forward to getting the opportunity to re-watch it when it comes out to buy.
Throughout Endgame there were so many big moments of greatness, but what I think made this film extra special was the many, many small little lines and character interactions that tied everything together.
It was such a well written, acted and edited film. The acting was immense.
It is a film made to be discussed.
I cannot wait for more of my friends to watch it so we can openly talk about everything and in particular the little nuances they noticed. I’m sure I missed plenty.
And Thor. He is still one of my all time favourite Marvel characters.
I believe the highest praise I can give this film was – I didn’t need to pee. Well, I did. It just wasn’t until after it was all finished that I realised I had better run to the nearest toilet. I didn’t want to miss one single scene. There were no boring bits. None. It was all good. All. Of. It.
So, Is it worth staying behind after the main film?
Yes!
There isn’t the usual teaser cut scene, but there is something a little bit special. So stay comfy or uncomfortable (it will have been over 3 hours) in your seat until the very end.
I’m sad to see the series end, but excited to see what comes next.
It. was. Awesome.
Sounds awesome! I’m behind on the other Marvel movies, so I still have to watch those before I can get to this one (ahem, having a baby can throw you off movie-watching for years…). Thanks for the review! I have something to look forward to 🙂

It took me about 6 attempts to watch the first avenger film because my beautiful baby didn’t like me watching TV 😀

Lol! I know the feeling. In my case, I’ve been too tired to stay awake to watch when my baby finally goes to sleep.

Fabulous! I didn’t watch Infinity War because I got fed up with all the big fight scenes in Age of Ultron and Civil War. You’ve definitely tempted me into going to see this one. 😀

It was good, it’s long thou and you definitely need to watch Infinity wars first 😀

It’s unlikely I’ll see this until it’s on Amazon to rent but I’m so excited

That is usually how I end up watching all the Marvel films too 😀 Wanted to see Endgame sooner rather than later so I wasn’t avoiding spoilers.
