The hidden wife by Amanda Reynolds #BlogTour #BookReview #ProvidedForReview #RandomThingsTours @annecater @AmandaReynoldsJ

The Hidden Wife by Amanda Reynolds started off good, and kept me reading and excited to turn the page.

It was addictive.

And I read a whole third of it in one sitting, which I almost never do. It might have helped that me wee small person was visiting her Grandma’s at the time. But the Hidden Wife is my sort of domestic thriller – good writing, interesting characters and a few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming.

In short, I thought that it was a great read.

And it features – The BEAST from the east! Did anyone escape the snowstorms that covered the UK that year?

The Hidden Wife was my first book by Amanda Reynolds and it will not be my last.

I was lucky enough to be invited to join the Hidden Wife blog tour – Thank you Anne, and I received a copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review – Thank you!

Book Blurb:

WHAT HAPPENED TO JULIA BLAKE?

She was young and beautiful, married to a famous author. They were celebrating their anniversary at their stunning country estate. So why did Julia Blake walk out of her perfect life, apparently leaving no trace?

Seren, a junior reporter for the local paper, can’t believe her luck when she lands an exclusive with Julia’s husband, Max. But as Seren spends more time at the couple’s remote mansion, probing ever deeper into the case, dark questions await.

What was Julia really like, behind closed doors? Was her marriage to this brooding, secretive man as perfect as it seemed? And did she really mean to disappear that night – or was she murdered?

Amanda Reynolds lives in the Cotswolds with her family where she writes full-time. Her debut novel, Close To Me, is a #1 e-book bestseller. The Hidden Wife is her third book.
