Another week, another FRIDAY! And I am so glad it’s Friday.
This has been a bit of a hectic week for us.
The school holidays are over.
I LOVED the holidays. I loved having my small wee sidekick about all the time, but I am also glad to be back into a routine.
Routines and bedtimes are good!
But, I’m already looking forward to the next holidays 😀

Last weekend I also watched my daughter get up on stage at our local Gala with a few other girls and perform a highland dance routine. She was amazing. Amazing. I was so proud.
She walked on stage with so much confidence and grace. She was wonderful. All the girls did a fantastic job.
And then I watched her play on the activities available. It was a good day.
Lots of fun. Lots of sweets. And lots of smiles.

I’ve not had as much time to read this week as I would have liked, but I am going to spend some time with my blog this weekend, write some posts and catch up with NetGalley.

I did get some GREAT book mail this week and I can’t wait to get stuck in!
- What she saw last night by M.J. Cross
- Living my best life by Claire Frost
- The girl the sea gave back by Adrienne Young

AND I also got another delicious Veg box delivered. Love my veggies. Roasted beetroot is now one of my most favourite things!
I have also enjoyed several coffees with friends I haven’t seen in a few weeks.
So my week has been all about friends, family and veggies. And books!
It’s been a good week.
Happy Friday!
The positivity wave was started by Meggy over at Chocolate’n’Waffles, to spread a bit of cheer around the book blogging world. And it has! Come and join the wave!
Love all you happy moments this week!

Oh, I had no idea that the school already started. It will be two more weeks until it starts here.
I am glad to hear you spent some quality time with your daughter and I am sure you’re proud of her.
I wish you a happy reading weekend!

I’ve never had roast beetroot – I feel like I shall have to try it out very soon.
Thanks for sharing.
