I’m SUPER excited for… CAN’T WAIT WED – If I never met you by Mhairi McFarlane #IfINeverMetYou #AmWaiting #ScottishWriter #ReadingCommunity @MhairiMcF

I love, love, love Mhairi McFarlane. Or I should say love, love, love her books. I’m sure I would love Mhairi McFarlane, but I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting her #LifeGoals.

So far I have read 4 out of 5 of Mhairi McFarlane’s published novels ( I must make time for Don’t you forget about me) and all of the books have been 5 ***** reads!

In my humble opinion, she writes rather awesome books. Awesome books.

If I never met you will be released at the beginning of next year – The 1st January 2020. And I have all of my fingers crossed that the NetGalley Gods decide to approve my request. If not I will be pre-ordering – so a win-win situation either way.

And the cover is PURPLE! Purple and yellow! Opposites of the colour wheel that look great together. The cover is clean and simple.

And as for the BOOK BLURB – Awesome!

If faking love is this easy… how do you know when it’s real?

The brand new novel from Sunday Times bestselling author Mhairi McFarlane

Laurie and Jamie have the perfect office romance
(They set the rules via email)

Everyone can see they’re head over heels
(They staged the photos)

This must be true love
(They’re faking it)

When Laurie is dumped by her partner of eighteen years, she’s blindsided. Not only does she feel humiliated, they still have to work together.

So when she gets stuck in the lift with handsome colleague Jamie, they hatch a plan to stage the perfect romance. Revenge will be sweet…

But this fauxmance is about to get complicated. You can’t break your heart in a fake relationship – can you?

Sounds great, right?!?! And Fauxmance – I love it!

Are you a Mhairi McFarlane fan? Have you read any of her other books. Are you looking forward to this one?

Happy Wednesday.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted over at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss books that have yet to be released, the new and upcoming releases. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, originally hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine.

  1. Ohh, I’ve heard this author is very funny. I know Lindsay Kelk always recommends her, so I want to read some of her work.
If I never Met You sounds pretty good and I’d also like to give a chance to Yoy had me at Hallo, and It’s not me, It’s you (or sth like that).
