READING CHALLENGE: #FFRC2020 #ReadingCommunity #BookBloggers @fictionophile

I don’t have all that much luck with reading challenges. And that is all my fault. I get carried away! Really. I. do. I know it might be hard to believe:)

I happily join in with lots and lots of books – all the time forgetting that I read about 1 book a week. Maybe slightly more during the summer and definitely a lot less during periods like December.

Plus, I’m a slow reader. And I am a mood reader.

So I tend to do badly when it comes to reading challenges. But I love the idea of them.

So when I stumbled across the wonderful Fictionphile’s Fiction Reading Challenge I almost dismissed it. Almost. But, I think I have found THE reading challenge for me. It looks uncomplicated. It asks you to concentrate on titles you already have. And it gives you a whole year to complete it. A year. For 8 books, I should be able to do this! Right?

And it looks fun.

And I have already crossed one off the list! A book featuring a first and last name.

I was lucky enough to be part of the BLOG TOUR for the amazing – The unlikely escape of Uriah Heep by H.G. Parry. If you are interested you can check out my review – HERE

I am going to try and have a look through my huge TBR pile for some inspiration.

Good luck to everyone joining in!

  2. I have the same problems with reading challenges. I always find ones that last a weekend or a week and unfortunately I haven’t found a way to convince my boss and kids to pretend I’m invisible for a week so I can just read lol.

Definitely going to give this one a try though. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This one sounds like fun and not quite as impossible as some of the challenges that go round! Hmm… I think I might struggle with the name of a fruit, though – can’t think of one on my TBR. Good luck, and enjoy!
