Welcome to another Can’t Wait Wed post – Where I get the opportunity to share books that I am looking forward to.
Thanks to twitter I recently read a tweet by the very lovely and talented Isabelle Broom about her future release – Hello Again.
And I was intrigued. And then I spotted the cover – WOW. Gorgeous, right?!?!?? I love everything about it.

BOOK BLURB:
Philippa Taylor (Pepper to her friends) has big dreams. When she closes her eyes, she can picture exactly who she ought to be. The problem is, it’s about as far away from her real life in a small coastal town in Suffolk as she can imagine.
So when her elderly friend Josephine persuades Pepper to accompany her on a trip to Europe, she jumps at the chance to change her routine. And when Pepper bumps (literally) into the handsome Finn in Lisbon, it seems as though she might have finally found what she’s been looking for.
But Pepper know all too well things are rarely as they seem. Her own quiet life hides a dark secret from the past. And even though she and Finn may have been destined to find each other, Pepper suspects life may have other plans as to how the story should end.
A romantic and sweeping story about friendship, love and realising that sometimes it’s about the journey, not the destination.
Sounds great, doesn’t it?
I have already pre-ordered my copy for the release date – July 9th 2020. And I can’t wait, it sounds like an ideal summer read!
Happy Wednesday!
What new releases are you eagerly awaiting?
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted over at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss books that have yet to be released, the new and upcoming releases. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, originally hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine.
My romance side thinks this is definitely a can’t wait book💜

This sounds very good. I like the intergenerational aspect as well as a possible romance. Great choice, Jules.

Oh, I was thinking Richard Fidler and Kari Gislason’s “Saga Land” but I’ve just realised it’s just come out! I am also keenly anticipating Anne Tyler’s new one and have a pre-order set up on Lennie Goodings’ A Bite of the Apple, about her life working for Virago Books.
And that IS a very pretty and enticing cover indeed!

Hallo, Hallo Jules,
Interestingly you’ve asked – I’ve just released my #TopTenTuesday about my Most Anticipated New Releases for 2020 (thus far!) – which encompass a mixture of genres I love to read and are a combination of previously beloved authors I’ve read, newly discovered & #newtomeauthors for 2020!
What brought me to your blog today is the premise of this particular novel — I love stories which give you a character who needs to take this epic journey – not just to find themselves but to find where they are meant to be at the time in their life they are uncertain about everything. Sounds like a lovely story and I will have to keep my eyes out for it come Summer!
Thank you for introducing me to the book & the author!
