#SixForSunday: Six characters I would like to be stranded with…

I LOVE a list, who doesn’t!?!? And this weeks Six for Sunday sounded too good to not join in. Although I’m not sure that I want to be stranded in the first place, but if I was I would certainly want to be stranded with interesting and practical people…

So in no particular order –

1)

Myra from After the Flood by Kassandra Montag because she is just so resilient, clever and can survive in a world devastated by THE flood to end all floods. I liked her a lot.

And if you are interested in the book you can check out my review – HERE

2)

The wonderful, kind and friendly Rosie who I would hope would make me some amazing tea and bake a fantastic array of delicious treats! Yum.

And maybe Max would even stick around to make sure we are all ok.

I was also lucky enough to review this lovely book – HERE

3)

Jayne Frost –

“Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost’s daughter, Santa Claus’s niece, heir to the Winter Throne and now…private investigator.

And she is funny, smart and likeable – and I’m sure she would be a super handy person to have around in an emergency. Plus I’m sure I could spend an evening or two listening to her family stories.

I blogged about the start of this series over a year ago – HERE I REALLY must read more of the Jayne Frost series, she is a great character.

4)

Charley Sutherland because he is one of my favourite characters from one of my favourite books of 2020 – The unlikely escape of Uriah Heep.

Charley has the very special talent of being able to ‘read’ out characters from a book into real life. Definitely a handy talent to have when stranded.

It was a great book! If you are interested you can find my review – HERE

5)

Claire from The library of the unwritten. But really I would happily be stranded with Leto, Hero or Brevity. I LOVED the book and I LOVED all the characters. I will be reviewing this shortly.

It really was a fab story. And if I was stranded with Claire she would be the sort of person to get on with it and get things done. We would be rescued, feed and home in time for bed.

Have you read it?

6)

And lastly, Jamie Fraser. He’s a highlander, he knows how to live off the land and well he is a bit of a legend. I think he would make for rather riveting conversation. And that accent…

I would also quite happily be stranded with Claire, she’s also so resilient and her knowledge of natural healing remedies would certainly come in handy, considering how clumsy I seem to be lately.

Have you joined in? Who would you like to be stranded with?

Six for Sunday is hosted over at the wonderful A Little But a Lot blog.
