#WWWwednesday 29/07/2020

Happy MID-WEEK.

Wednesday is always the day I need an extra coffee! Or an extra couple of coffees – you get the point, right!?! I always suffer from a bit of a mid-week slump. I have been meaning to join in with the WWW Wednesday feature for AGES! And after a year and a half of blogging I’ve finally managed πŸ˜€

So YAY! Here I go…

WWW Wednesday asks just three questions:

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT BOOK(s) HAVE YOU RECENTLY FINISHED?

I LOVED both of them – both got 5 stars!

And the cover designs are gorgeous, especially for The Nesting!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL READ NEXT?

I am still not quite decided!!

From the ones above – The Tuscan Contessa is calling to me! Plus I’ve never read a bad book by Dinah Jefferies. But, Queenie has been sat on my TBR pile for AGES and I love Louise Candlish and Red at the bone sounds amazing and is less than 300 pages, while I also really need MORE Brandon Sanderson in my life! So…who knows!?!?

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that was revived by Sam over at the wonderful – Taking on a World of Words.

    1. I didn’t like it 😦 I just couldn’t get into the story so I’ve DNF – I might return to it at some point but I just wasn’t in the mood for it at all.

I hope you love it thou if you do pick it up – it seems quite the marmite book.

    1. I’ve read nothing but good things about Queenie! I have a print edition which is the only thing slowing me down from picking it up as I seem to be stuck to my kindle or audiobooks at the moment. Thank you πŸ˜€

  1. I loved The Hunger Games so really should try The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The Nesting cover looks amazing – I’ve just read about it – I definitely need to read this one!

  2. I love how you have included all the books you’re reading at the moment. I usually pick the one I am about to finish first. Faking it and The One That Got Away are going to my TBR right now.

    1. That’s a good plan – I am totally flipping back and forth between so many books at the moment I was thinking of trying to get back to reading just one or maybe two at a time!

I loved The one that got away (I just reviewed it) and Faking it is such an easy read – I’m not quite done but I think it’s great so far.

  3. The cover for The Nesting is gorgeous – and I LOVE dilemmas like that, where a PILE of strong books are all calling to me at the same time. Where’s a clone when you need one??? Have a fun reading time, Jules:)
