Hello! And welcome to my stop on the blog tour for another amazing installment in Sara Madderson’s Sorrel Farm series – When Then Becomes Now.
Quick moving update (for anyone interested)- we are in! I’m exhausted. The house is almost unpacked and looking like a home and my small wee person has started a new school. It’s beginning to feel like home – all I need now is some time to read and write. I miss reading. I think this might be the longest I’ve went in years without picking up a book at least once a day.
Also I totally forgot it’s November – anyone else NaNoWrimo(ing)???
You’re seventeen, and you’re hopelessly, crazily in love.
One night, everything goes tragically wrong, and you won’t see him for twenty-one long years.
When your paths cross again, you’re married. And he’s famous.
How can you be together?
How can you not?
“Twenty-one years of no contact and no answers and no way to heal from the fact that she fell off a figurative cliff, that day in 1998, and she’s been stumbling along ever since, putting one foot in front of the other, trying to exist.”
Great sounding synopsis, right!?!?! And doesn’t her books have the best #COVERdesigns?
I haven’t read this one YET- see above update, I’ve been moving. And haven’t had the headspace or time to get stuck in but I will. AND. So far I’ve read most of Sara Madderson’s back catalogue and I’ve yet to be disappointed. So I am looking forward to it.
I received a copy of the book for review (which I will do soon) from the author, which was all arranged via the blog tour organiser – thank you Anne and Sara.
