I LOVE a good character. Who doesn’t!?! So this week I’ve chosen 3 of my favourite series with some very memorable, very fun and fantastic characters. 3 series but far more than 6 characters – I couldn’t stop!
So in no particular order:
Jayne Frost

Jayne is Santa’s niece. Yes – Santa! And she’s a bit of a part time detective and somehow Jayne always has gorgeous men throwing themselves at her feet. She is a LOT of fun!
“I also never turn down sprinkles. Which could be my life’s motto.”
― Kristen Painter, Miss Frost Ices The Imp: A Nocturne Falls Mystery
And a series I highly recommend – I did write a review about the fabulous Jayne Frost series – HERE. I’ve yet to finish all the books – I am saving them for some fun winter reading.
Charley Davidson and her bestie Cookie

I LOVE Darynda Jones, she is Hilarious. ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. She is by far the author that makes me laugh out loud the most. When I read any of the books in the series I end up highlighting almost all of the pages with quotes I want to share with my bestie.
Seriously – Charley Davidson is a character you need to get to know. And Cookie, the next door neighbour and is just as funny as well as being loyal and dependent. She is a shining star! They both are.
“That took balls.”
“Please,” I said with a snort, “that took ovaries. Of which I have two.”
― Darynda Jones, First Grave on the Right
I have blogged about First Grave on the right – HERE
Kate Daniels, Andrea Nash, Curran, Derek, Saiman…
The list goes on and on from the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews…

I really love the series – I’ve re-read each of the books at least a couple of times! It is one of my favourite series and filled to the absolute brim with amazing, well written, lovable and devious characters. I recommend everything written by Ilona Andrews. EVERYTHING.
“As he passed me, he leaned to Curran and handed him a paper fan folded from some sort of flyer.
Curran looked at the fan. “What?”
“An emergency precaution, Your Majesty. In case the lady faints.”Curran just stared at him.
Raphael strode toward the Pit, turned, flexed a bit, and winked at me.
“Give me that,” I told Curran. “I need to fan myself.”
“No, you don’t.”
― Ilona Andrews, Magic Strikes
Six for Sunday is hosted over at the wonderful A Little But a Lot blog.
Who are your favourite characters?
I love that you chose strong female characters, and the quotes were inspired, not to mention inspiring.

Yay! I hope you do manage to read it 🙂 The first book is a little slow and the world building takes a moment to get to grips with but the books just get better and better! I was so sad the series ended but also happy that the authors ended it on a high. Happy reading when you get to them 😀

I love it! I’ve read all the books at least twice – the first book is good but the series really finds its feet from book 2 onwards. I hope you do get the chance to read it someday – but there is WAY too many books and never enough time!
